Our 0-5K Programme (launching August 4th), is for anyone who has either not run for a while or has limited previous running experience and wants to be able to run 5K in 8 weeks!
This online programme, is a run/walk to continuous running programme. Over the course of 8 weeks you will receive weekly training plans as well as tips and tricks around nutrition and motivation. We will also show you the techniques you need to run 5K efficiently and pain free.
At the end of the 8 week programme you will be confident of taking part in a 5K run. For a list of events taking place in your area, please visit www.runireland.com/events.
To kick off the programme, we will be having a "Beginning to Run" Seminar on Wednesday July 26th at 6:30 and again at 14:30, which will give you a head start in your preparation for injury free and enjoyable running.
Who: Running Instructor and UCD Sports Lecturer, Maeve McKillop has designed your online programme and Fitness Instructor, Kieran McKeown will deliver the onsite seminars to make sure you’re run ready!
When: The launch seminars will take place on Wednesday July 26th at 6:30 and again at 14:30. Duration of each seminar will be 35-40 minutes with a Q&A afterwards. The eLearning programme will commence on Friday August 4th.
Do I Need to Sign Up? There is no need to register for the onsite seminars, simply attend on the day. To register for the eLearning programme please complete the online booking form below.
