Operation transformation has been a hugely successful and very popular weight loss programme broadcast on RTE television since 2008. We have devised a programme to run concurrently with the series which will be a great opportunity to get employees working together in teams to lose weight and become healthier.
We will encourage the participants to follow a leader on the programme and use their diet and fitness regimes created by Karl Henry Fitness expert, Dr. Eve Orsmond Medical Doctor, Dr. Eddie Murphy Clinical Psychologist.
2 separate packages are available (Standard & Platinum). Standard option includes a complete marketing package, on site weigh-in stations, registrations and online support through a bespoke webpage where results and progress for each team can be charted.
Platinum option includes all of the above as well as support throughout the programme by our team of fully qualified Dietitians and Fitness Instructors.
Weekly results will be sent to all teams charting their progress

Programme Structure
We will provide a complete marketing package for the event to include:- Motivational posters
- The invite can be issued by email and/or posters
- We will take all registrations for the programme.
- Post registration, we will divide into teams (number depending on the amount registered to take part).
- We will provide weighing scales to remain onsite for the duration of the programme as well as Operation Transformation pop-up stands to ensure privacy when weighing in. Weigh-in will take place on the same day for all participants each week. We will provide a nurse for the initial weigh in on week 1.
- Each team will have a dedicated webpage on www.layawellness.ie to submit their results. Weekly reports will be generated from this data and sent to you for weekly updates on team’s progress.
- Each team member will choose their name from a dropdown menu, submit this week’s weight, minutes of exercise per week and additional comments. At the end of each week, each team will get a PDF charting their progress and compare their minutes of that week to the other teams. This will show team result and not individual results.
- We will provide a prerecorded webinar from a Dietitian every 2 weeks to deliver talks about nutritional plans, motivation and encouraging continued participation, staying focused and giving them the support to make the healthy changes in their lives.
- We will provide a Fitness Instructor twice weekly to provide boot camp classes to help people to start moving more, improve their fitness and ultimately lose weight.
- We will provide an Nurse for and initial weigh in on week 1 and a final weigh in on week 8.

Who will deliver it?
Our team of qualified dietitians and fitness instructors will be available as part of the Platinum package.
Expected Results
By the end of the 8 week programme, employees will hopefully have lost weight in a healthy manner and have the knowledge to maintain it at a healthy level. We do not set % weight loss targets but we will record them.
In addition, we expect employees will find the challenge to an extremely enjoyable experience with the added benefit of building team spirit and engagement across different parts of the organisation.
