Who is this for?
This 12 week weight loss programme is for anyone who wants to lose weight the healthy way, change their eating habits and improve their lifestyle. Being overweight can lead to many serious health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer to name a few, so it’s important we take care in what we eat.
By the end of the 12 week programme, you will hopefully have lost weight in a healthy manner and have the knowledge to maintain it at a healthy level.
A twelve-week weight loss & maintenance support group programme will be available to all employees. Project Weight Loss enables you to work together as a group as each individual works toward their goal of attaining or maintaining a healthy weight.
12 weekly group meetings will be held by our expert Dietitian. Topics will include a review of key behaviours, which support weight loss and also serve as an introduction to the lifestyle changes necessary, to maintain a healthy weight.
When and where:
The weekly sessions will take place each week beginning on Tuesday April 7th 2015 and each Monday thereafter between 12:00-13:00 and 13:00-14:00 in the 'Suir' room.
Week 1- Food Diary
To help our dietitian to help you, we want you to record the food you eat for the next week, and we have provided you with an easy to use food diary to help track your intake. All you have to do is download the food diary below, print it out, and fill out the daily meals as accurately as you can before you meet with the dietitian next week.
